Travellingbie : The City Bayview Hotel, LangkawiJalan Pandak Mayah 1, Pusat Bandar Kuah07000 Pulau Langkawi, Kedah MalaysiaTel: 04-9661818 email: cbvlgk@tm.net.my

Hotel CityBayview terletak di tengah-tengah pekan Kuah.
I'll attached the full address of the hotel for reference:

The Journey:we took the night flight at 8pm with MAS.
Nyaris kene tinggal kapal terbang sebab pergi solat dulu.

Sampai di Lapangan Terbang Langkawi di dalam pukul 9pm. It took about nearly 1 hour to land Langkawi Island. From Langkawi Airport we took a van to Hotel CityBayview and i'm so surprised with the van rate.

It was only RM16.00 and it took about 1/2 hour to reach the hotel.
So, for those who want to have a trip to Langkawi, you don't have to worry about the transport from the airport to the hotel...the rate is reasonable enough. As it was a night journey, we cannot even see a beautiful view of Langkawi Island...we were so excited to see Langkawi's nowadays...i've been expecting to see a rapid changes in Langkawi since my last visit a very few years back ~ about nearly 10 years ago.

We reached City Bayview Hotel nearly 10pm. The receptionist was friendly and welcomed us with a big smile...
First Impression:We got the key and went straight to the room. The room was nice and big enough for both of us.

The bed was big enough and we have been given a twin bed...just nice.! The environment in the room is so calming.
The colour of the furniture was very classic with brown color...rasa macam masuk showroom perabut jati pulak...though i guess the furniture is not purely from teakwood.

However, there is no corridor for lepak-lepak after working or at night.

The Food:
The food was quite OK, the choices of food is not really attempting and sometimes the food was not varies. But the Cucur Udang during tea time was great...makan bertambah-tambah lagi bila cucur udang cecah dgn kuah satay...yummy...the sambal nasi lemak during breakfast was delicious...but a bit spicy...the best food that i ever taste was in East in Hotel PJ...the food was really nice there.
