Perjalanan ke Hotel Federal dari rumah mengambil masa selama setengah jam. Itupun bernasib baik sebab keluar rumah selepas solat Zohor.
One thing that i don't like about Bukit Bintang area is the environment and the parking facilities. We have to park the car at Low Yat Parking and the i dont think the hotel itself have a convenient parking for the guest or even doesn't have the parking basement at all.
Check in at the reception at about 230pm. The briefing has started and so did the work...
Well...this is the review of my personal opinion about the hotel...let's talk about the hotel facilities:
Room - quite big enough for 3 person
Bathroom - as usual, i dont like the hotel bathroom. It doesn't have convenient facilities for guests like us.
Hospitality - I think the experience in Federal Hotel is among the bad experience ever. I have to wait for the iron for almost 1 Hour, The room makeover takes ages and even after we had lunch, the room still in a mess.
There is a black out and we have to leave the room earlier and till noon the problem still not resolved yet. I have to call the reception for almost 3 times to inform about the problem.
The waiters and the hotel staff rarely smile. The housekeeper did even ask me why i ask for the toilet tissues. I strongly believe that they should be sent to hospitality training again.
Food - Not really up to the standard for a hotel in the city. The food was not varies and we just eat to fill in our stomach.Anyway...there is not so much complaint about the food or the facilities, but the main thing was about the hospitality.
Hospitality is the most important thing for the hotel business. People will definitely not coming back the the hotel which they feel uncomfortable with.
Last but not least...if you are visiting KL, try to find other hotels that might give you better experience in hospitality than Federal Hotel.
